Hi ,

Is it possible as administrator to block edit the lyrics chords MIDI recordings for other users. I know that it is programmed the other way around that when you edit your personal lyrics that others can't.

I noticed when I adit Users as administrator and I press save I have to log out and log in to ad a new user. is this a bug or do I use the program wrong.

You can make a user read-only to prevent them from editing anything. There's no way to prevent them from editing shared content while allowing them to edit personal content.

I've never heard of that, so I'd like to see exactly what steps you are taking and what problem you see. If this is unrelated to the read-only question, please start a new thread for that.

wil this be a future option? only read shared content and edit personal content?

I can put it on my wish list. In general I think that a lot of options for restricting the editing are not needed, because your own bandmates will practically never damage your data, and if they do, you always have the option to undo their changes.

With the BandHelper updates released today, you can set users' edit access to None, Added Only or All. Added Only allows them to add new items and edit only those items. It also allows them to edit their personal fields and custom fields, and attach their own documents and recordings to items. More details are in the release notes:

Hi Arlo,
This is precisely what I'm trying to do for my users but the Added Only option gives them Read Only access now it seems.

You already submitted a help ticket for that and I'll respond there.
