Help with Apps and Behringer X Air Mixers
« on: July 05, 2019, 05:44:19 PM »
Hiya. I'd like to use the apps feature to switch to the "X Air" iPad app that controls a Behringer XR16 mixer. Not going easily so far.

  • I'm not totally sure what the app's name is ("X Air", "XAir", something else?). How do I determine this for sure? I guess this is the lesser problem as I could probably stumble on to the right name.
  • Bigger problem seems to be that handleopenurl.com does not look like a place one can look up URL schemes (even if I could read German). So where do I get this info?

XAir mixers are pretty popular. Maybe someone has already created the app link and can share?

Thanks in advance.

It looks like handleopenurl.com now redirects to another site.

You don't need to include the :// with the URL scheme.

Am assuming you are using Bandhelper to control settings in the x18?  are you doing it on a per song basis?

No, I Use the XR Control App started from ybandhelper. The xair does a submix to FOH. I get a monitor signal without keys from FOH and can control my volume in the monitor mix. OverallI i touch the faders 2 or 3 times in a gig.
