Song edit disabled for phone but not tablet

I can edit songs from the song-list, but the edit-icon on the toolbar in a layout is grayed out on my phone. My tablet OTOH works as expected. I can include/exclude song-edit in my layout, but I do not understand the criteria required to enable the icon.

There's no reason for the song edit button in the set list view to be disabled, so please submit a help ticket for troubleshooting:
