Purpose of midi program change in Song view.

In the web BandHelper interface song view of your repertoire, for each song there is a field for Midi Program Change. What is this for? just a place holder for information sake? I understand you need an actual midi preset saved in order for BandHelper to send the PC. Sure would be nice tho if you didn't need to create a separate Midi file for ever single song. Gets pretty tedious when your constantly adding new songs and need them to snd a PC. Thanks in advance.

I think you're referring to the song edit page. The MIDI fields there are for incoming MIDI messages, which you can use to select songs. To send outgoing MIDI messages, you need to create MIDI presets.

You can create a MIDI preset for a song from the song edit page, by clicking Add MIDI Presets and then clicking the New MIDI Preset button in the popup.
