Public Directory of Songs?

Just had a thought and wanted to see what can be done.

Is there a way to have a forum page OR some kind of bank for people to import there chord charts or files for songs for other people to use?
I'm sure some of us musicians have the same songs in our repertoires, and it would be so time efficient for us to be able to grab someone else's chart they have made (even just for a bass for editing that particular song).

I know this isn't a usual request or feature with other chord chart apps- but it would be cool
