Mac app preferences
« on: October 03, 2023, 04:33:11 PM »
Anyone knows of a trick for this :

I am doing a clean install of an old Mac for the single purpose of putting BandHelper on it.
I already have it on another Mac set up exactly as I want .. MIDI remote control and such .. is there a way I can copy the settings from the other Mac.
Where are the preferences stored ?

Thanks

arlo

From the Settings > General Settings page on the existing device, you can click the Export button in the bottom toolbar to export your local settings as a txt file. Then from the Settings menu on the new device, you can click the Import button in the top toolbar to import that file.
