Follow Action - Live sharing no long working unless in wifi

I am not sure if anyone else is having this issue, but I have been using 3 iPad while gigging where there is no wi-fi and it always allowed me to use the "follow actions from" until recently.  About 2 weeks ago, I am no longer able to connect to my iPad to follow actions from, unless I am all connected to the same wifi network. Also, the wifi must be connected to the internet for it to work.  Can anyone tell me where I am going wrong ? It just stopped working.

Any help is greatly appreciated as this is a big feature we use. We have a gig coming up next week and I really need to figure this out.

Do your devices all have the current app version?

iOS 17.4 was released two weeks ago; did you recently update any of your devices to that?

When your devices are not connected to the same wi-fi network, are they connected to any wi-fi network? I'm not sure but for this to work without wi-fi, they might need to be disconnected from any wi-fi.
