Midi Presets To/From MX61 and Bandhelper

I just purchased a Yamaha MX61 and I am trying to connect to my iPad running Bandhelper. I am using the preset function and using the Midi Learn feature.  I do not see any data being populated in the preset fields.  I am unable to determine if any data is being sent to the MX61 as well.  Does anyone have this combination and are using the Midi Presets to send the preset midi data to the MX61?  Any insights would be helpful.  Thanks.

You can click the MIDI button in the top toolbar to see if your MIDI interface (or your keyboard if you are connecting directly to it without a MIDI interface) is listed in the Connected Ports, and to see if any data is sent or received in the Activity Log.
