Just noticed that a user who has only ,added data' permission cannot edit or update a Setlist which has been created by me or another user. But I like to avoid give everybody ,all data access' or have multiple Setlist for just one gig.

That's correct, the Added Data setting means someone can edit data they added but can't edit data someone else added.

What is a scenario where someone else would need to edit a set list you added?

Thanks for the very quick reply  :)
Usually One of the bandmembers (mostly myself) is creating a setlist for each Gig, and we're discussing it while the rehearsal sessions or via email or WhatsApp. Sometimes it's only little changes, e.g. the Song order. But then every changing must be done by the creator. It would be easier if everybody could change it.
Unfortunately I have not the best experience to give everybody full access, because not everyone is really confident in handling apps and data. In the past I often loose content.

Can you describe what data you would want to let people to edit and what data you would not want to let people edit?

dr_rollo

Nobody should be able to delete files added by other users. But every bandmaster should be able to edit setlists, also they should add or change metadata of songs, e.g. rating, key, tempo

You would want a permission that lets someone change any data but not delete it? In a way that could be more destructive than deleting because it's easier to undo a deletion than to undo what could be a series of edits within a song or set list. I would recommend just giving full editing access to those who need it, perhaps with a reminder that the data is shared and they shouldn't edit or delete things solely for their personal needs (there are personal fields and other options available for that). You can undo a deletion if needed within 90 days from the Admin > History page of the website.
