TP Wireless Controller – Switching Preset Pair

I am using a TP Wireless Controller with Bandhelper and would like to use it to switch a Preset Pair.

The two buttons on the controller that I want to use have no function in the TP iPad app, so I assume I could use them with Bandhelper.

Using MIDI Wrench, I have identified the following MIDI messages when pressing the buttons:

Button 1: CC ch=8 controller=63 value=16
Button 2: CC ch=8 controller=63 value=17
In the App Control settings, under Actions → Send MIDI Preset, I selected Controller 63 – Single Tap, but this seems to only send a single preset.

My goal:

First button: triggers the first preset of the pair
Second button: triggers the second preset of the pair
Is there a way to use these two controller messages to switch a preset pair, similar to using the MIDI button on the iPad? If not, are there any alternative solutions?

ich verwende einen TP Wireless Controller mit Bandhelper und möchte damit ein Preset-Paar umschalten.

Die beiden Tasten des Controllers, die ich verwenden möchte, haben in der TP iPad App keine Funktion, weshalb ich davon ausgehe, dass ich sie für Bandhelper nutzen könnte.

Mit MIDI Wrench habe ich folgende MIDI-Nachrichten beim Drücken der Tasten ausgelesen:

Gibt es eine Möglichkeit, diese beiden Controller-Befehle zu verwenden, um ein Preset-Paar umzuschalten, so wie es mit dem MIDI-Button auf dem iPad möglich ist? Falls nicht, welche Alternativen könnte es geben?

If you paired two presets in BandHelper, then you would only use one button to trigger them. Pressing the button once triggers the first of the pair, pressing it again triggers the second of the pair, pressing it again triggers the first of the pair, etc.

If you want to specifically select one preset or the other, you should not pair them and instead attach both to the song and use the Send MIDI Preset 1 and Send MIDI Preset 2 app control actions to send them.

Also, since your foot switch button sends values of less than 64, you'll need to set Settings > App Control > MIDI Button Style to Latch.
