How do I annotate on full screen?
« on: July 02, 2014, 08:19:21 AM »
I haven't figured out how to annotate on a song chart in perform mode. I can annotate if I go back to song list, but after I go back to perform mode, my notes are halfway up the page. I need for my notes to be in an exact spot. In the previous version, I could make notes as I go or right a different key on the chart for different singers. Please help.

You can't add annotations from the show view (you couldn't in previous versions, either). This is on my to do list for a future update. Until then, you would have to navigate back to the Documents or Songs list and view a document there to add annotations.

The annotations should always display in the correct location, but I've seen that they are not if you add the annotations while the document is zoomed in. Is that the problem you're seeing? That's on my to do list for version 4.0.2.

I see now that the notes will stay in place, but it sure is difficult to write that small. Thanks.

The zooming issue will be fixed soon. Then you can zoom in, write your annotations, and zoom back out again.

In the upcoming app version 4.1, you can tap the center of a document to show a new document toolbar, then tap the "marker" button to show the annotation toolbar. This allows you to edit annotations wherever a document appears.

More info on the new version is here:
