trying to copy and paste existing songs onto android
« on: October 31, 2014, 02:38:04 PM »
Hi,

Just bought a Galaxy Tab 4 and bought setlist maker app.
doing ok getting my head around it, have created a set list with 12 song titles etc, got them in the order for an upcoming gig, but I have songs on my laptop in windows that I want to copy and paste in the lyrics window of setlist maker but just can't work out how to do.
Is this not possible, do I have to type them all out, do I attach them as documents?

I want them to appear on the screen and be able to flick from one to the other at the gig... the reason I got the tab and the app, but this step is eluding me!!!

Can anyone help?

Thanks Jacqui

You can either save your existing files as PDFs, copy the PDFs to your Android device, and attach them to your songs in Set List Maker; or you can copy the existing files to your Android device, open them, select and copy the text, and paste it into the Lyrics fields of your songs in Set List Maker.

The pros and cons of both approaches are listed here:
