Hi Arlo,

Is it possible to have a show on one device that displays lyrics for a song, while the same song (in the same show on a second device) can display a different document, such as a chord chart?

If so, can the automation to scroll the respective documents be synced?

Thanks,

arlo

Yes, you can set up the data on the two devices to have a different default document for the same song. You can then use the device linking feature to transmit song selections and scroll positions from one device to the other in real time. Or if you want to use automation tracks, you can sync the databases on the two devices so they use the same automation tracks. However, sharing the scroll positions with either of these methods would only make sense if the documents are the same length and always need to be scrolled to the same place at the same time. If that's not the case, then you'd need to set up separate automation tracks on each device and turn off the option to sync automation tracks between devices.
