Andriod: link a simple test file to song

No idea why this simple task does not work.

Created two simple text files.
Copied then to my tablet
Can read them on my tablet; it opens with some crappy HTML-viewer.

Trying to attach in SLM, Add documents, navigating to the place where I know the documents are: it is empty.

What Am i doing wrong?

Set List Maker on iOS can display .pdf, .doc, .docx, .ppt, .pptx, .pages, .key, .rtf, .txt or .jpg documents. Set List Maker on Android can only display .pdf documents.
