MIDI controller -> Next MIDI Preset or Song not working for me (SOLVED)

I'm trying to get a MIDI foot pedal to move to the next MIDI preset or song. I believe I have correctly set up the "Next MIDI Preset or Song" to listen to the same controller (General Button 3, CC 82). I can see the MIDI message coming in in the MIDI activity log --- I see messages like B0 52 00 (off) and B0 52 ff (on).

Any idea what I might be doing wrong?

I figured it out. I had "MIDI Input Port" set to "Network Session" instead of "All" or the actual device.
