chords not displaying properly with new ipad

Hi,
I have some chord notations that are single digit numbers eg [5] (to signify fret number).  This has historically worked fine on my old gen 3 ipad.  Now with a newer iPad air 4th gen it does not work properly and the [5] is put in the lyrics line.

also displays properly on my phone and on desktop browser
