Start Record Play on First device with Second device.

I have Two devices (iPad mini and iPhone 6). On Both devices i have SLM and i Sync per wifi with midi. Its faster as THE internal Sync and i can Control THE Songs per midisongnumber.
My iPad is on Stage and i Control with my iPhone.
How can i Start THE Records per Midi from SLM to SLM.

You can either start the recording directly with a MIDI controller message, as described on this page:

Or you can select a song with a MIDI song select or program change message, then turn on Settings > Automation > Song Select Actions > Play Recording on the receiving device.
