Displaying different documents per band member

Sorry in advance if this has been addressed elsewhere. Couldn't search it up.

Say I have four band members... guitar bass drums keys. Each band member wants to look at a personalized lead sheet for each song. Here's what I've done but I wonder if there's an easier way.

- Create and upload the personalized documents for each band member. Four in this case.
- Check only one box in the "users" selection for each document. For example, guitar checked, bass drums and keys unchecked.
- Put all the documents in the documents list for the song (before the lyrics, it seems).
- Put a document viewer in the layout.

The document viewer will show the first document that is active for the user.

I feel like I might be missing something since this is such a basic feature and how I've done it feels awkward. Any advice much appreciated.
