Synching iPads

Hello Arlo,

I have a problem syncing two iPads.
Mine is an iPad Pro 12.9, sixth generation. It is the Master.
I'm not sure about my colleague's iPad, but it's smaller.

We connect the two iPads using "Adopt Actions..." My colleague has created a custom layout for his iPad (portrait).

The text scrolling is done via automation tracks with jumps to markers in the text.
However, on my colleague's iPad, the markers are not perfectly aligned at the top. The further the song progresses, the more the text shifts.

We've also tried using my layout. Same result. The text shifts upward.

What can I do about this?

BTW: All the best for the New Year!!!

Regards
Elle

How far off is it?

Are both devices using the current app version?

The spacing varies from song to song. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't with different spacings.

I just got the info from my colleague's iPad. Here are the infos from our two iPads:

Mine (Master)my colleague
OS-version:26.126.2
App-version:2025-12-02 (201)2025-12-02 (201)
IP address:192.168.178.52192.168.178.25
device type:iPad14,5iPad14,8
windows size:1366x1024820x1180

I have to admit that I only updated to iOS 26.2 today. Maybe that was the reason.
I can only report after the next rehearsal whether it works now.

Any other ideas?

I don't think the iOS version will matter; I was just asking about the app version.

The Live Sharing function will scale scroll positions to match each device's screen size, so I'm trying to see if the amount that it's off is small enough to just be a small calculation or rounding error. Can you send screen shots of both devices, showing an example of the lead device scrolled to a marker and where the following device actually scrolled to?

ElleMrLA

I will do that for the next rehearsal.
But that might take a while...

Thanks for so long
