Live Sharing Devices - and problems

I definately like tho option of Live Sharing Devices. Using it with our Top40 Band. All devices are connecting to the same network. I'm even using a stage router for controlling the Digital Mixer, and this could be also used for Bandhelper. My iPad is the master, and I share my screen with our singer, she is fine with my sheets containing full lyrics and don't cares about Chords and my annotations. With the drummer, the bassman and the guitarist I'm using the 'Follow Actions from' option, so that I select the song and they get their own sheets displayed. That works definitely great.
We don't have a fix setlist for our gigs, just creating it on demand. That means that I have to create a blank setlist for all gigs and every device must be synchronized so that everyone has the same setlist. They need to open the Setlist first then connect to my device. And then I could start adding Songs. Every change I do in the setlist will be displayed on all devices, e.g. changing the order, add another song ad hoc - whatever. Nobody needs to touch their devices while the show, however they could just look up the order or the next song.

Problems occur unfortuantely, when devices loosing the connection to the master. Normally they automatically reconnect. But when I've added songs while they were disconnected, they get an error displayed. The only chance is that I delete the songs and add it again. Normally we don't have these issues. But the iPad Pro (1st Gen) of  our guitarist is loosing the connection quite often. I don't know why this happens. I already tried an extra router, to place it more near to the guitarist. But the same problem. Now he's going for a new iPad to see if there might be an issue with the iPad.

Are you using Settings > Advanced > Other > Use New Peer Connections on all the devices?

Also, instead of starting with an empty set list, you could view the All Songs list on all the devices, then select songs on the lead device and they will be selected on the following devices. Then if someone becomes disconnected but they can see the song everyone else is viewing, they can select it manually without having to add it to the list.
