The JX‑05 identifies itself over Bluetooth as a keyboard device - HID Protocol

Keyboard: page: 0x000d, usage: 0x0042, value=0x1

Common Functions the JX-05 Supports

From product listings and reviews, here's what the JX‑05 appears to be commonly used for:

Selfie / Camera shutter: one button triggers your phone's camera shutter.

"Like" / double-click for TikTok videos.

Page turning: up, down, left, right navigation in e‑books or slides.

Volume control: increase or decrease volume.

Media control: play/pause, fast forward, and rewind when watching videos

Tricky configuration required on iphone (via accessibility functions) - ive got it performing some actions (left right) however scroll up and down seems to be read as page up and downn.  Will try to configure with tags instead of manual scroll

It sounds like you already have one. In that case, you can click the app control button (foot switch icon) in the top toolbar and look at the Activity Log to see what messages it's sending.
