Last post by joebear - August 31, 2026, 11:43:45 PMI got a new iPad. I created a new Split View layout. I want it to largely match my regular layout on another iPad. This would include the four field slots in the footer giving me Current Time, Key, Tempo, and Duration.
The fourth slot was defaulted to Title+1. I found myself unable to tap it to be modified.
In trying to get things to work, I somehow managed to change field slot three to Tempo+1. At that point, it jumped over to the right half of the footer (fine). However, once it moved over there, I am no longer able to tap it.
What's going on here? What am I misunderstanding? Any attempts to tap either field slot 3 or 4 end up defining a new floating field.

I have some chord notations that are single digit numbers eg [5] (to signify fret number). This has historically worked fine on my old gen 3 ipad. Now with a newer iPad air 4th gen it does not work properly and the [5] is put in the lyrics line.
See pic: new on left old on right.
also displays properly on my phone and on desktop browser
