My songs are setup to program my pedals on song selection by sending midi presets through BT.  I set my guitar sounds(GT-1000), and my harmony key settings to my vocal processor(VE-500).  That works great for me.

I have a specific need to send a midi preset to turn on strobing lights during a specific song.  I need to be able to toggle it when its needed. Should I do this independently with a Midi pedal, or is there another viable approach I'm not thinking of...like a button on the layout or some other.

You can go to the Settings > General page in the app and reenter your password.

I added a few songs on the website this morning, but when I bring up the app to sync, I get "your password was not found in secure storage" message, so I can't get the new songs into the app. I run BH on a MacMini M2 and the app is running on two iPad pros running iOS 26.3.

Any ideas?

Thank You for the help. I have another question.
I setup my pedal for: Next Page / Marker or Song to up arrow click & Previous Page / Marker or Song on down arrow click. The previous page click will scroll the pages of a song and also change to the next song but the next song click will only scroll the page of the song and not change to the next song in the setlist. What am I missing?

Most foot switches are really keyboards (a typing keyboard, not a piano keyboard) that send a limited number of key messages. Most commonly a keyboard connects by Bluetooth using the HID protocol, but it can also connect by USB. The PageFlip Firefly (2 buttons) and Dragonfly (4 buttons) can do both:

The other option is a foot switch that sends MIDI messages, and connects through a USB MIDI interface.

I have been successfully controlling AutoScroll start/stop and manual scroll with a homemade footswitch using Arduino ESP-32 via keyboard commands over Bluetooth. It works great except there are some locations that I cannot for the life of me get Bluetooth to connect to my iPad.  It's seem like location dependent interface? Possibly other BT devices??  I'm pretty dependent on this so for a gig this is no good when it happens.   

Is there any alternative to BT such as direct control via TCP?

You don't need markers to use the "Page/Marker" actions. If you don't have markers, they will scroll by page.
