This is on my wish list and I'll add a vote for you.

P.S. I recommend changing your forum username to something other than your email address since your username is displayed publicly.

Repertoire Help / Re: Feature Request: Chat feat...

Quote from: Insider0203 on August 25, 2024, 08:07:47 PMAs a way to help communicate information quickly to musicians on stage, what if Bandhelper had asimple chat features that would work between devices connected during live sharing.

You can now send chat messages through Live Sharing. You can predefine messages like "More lead vocal in monitor" or "Five minutes left" on the Repertoire > Chat Messages page. Then you can send these messages from the Chat Message Button or Multiple Chat Message Buttons layout items, or the Send Chat Message 1-10 app control actions.

Following devices will display the messages in a popup, or in the Chat field if that's included in the layout, and can optionally read the messages aloud if Settings > Live Sharing > Speak Chat Messages is on. You can route the speech to a particular audio channel from Settings > Audio & MIDI > Speech Output Channel.

Repertoire Help / OSC Remote control from Remote...
Last post by damianjosephadams@gmail.c - October 20, 2025, 10:15:34 AM
would it be possible to implement an OSC Receive and expose the App controls and PC Changes.
Eg
//Bandhelper/Play
//Bandhelper/Next
//Bandhelper/Previous
//Bandhelper/PC/1.5.30
Etc
So i can control bandhelper from a remote OSC App
I'm doing this from Midi but the App is really OSC Based so Im having to translate between OSC and Midi Commands.

Stage Plots Help / Performer names are invisible
Last post by jimm - October 19, 2025, 06:37:11 AM
I wanted to update the band member names on our stage plot. The band member labels are invisible! When I click on them, they are highlighted and I can click on the gear icon to get the popup dialog and edit the names, but they don't appear in the browser or when exported to PDF.

I tried three different browsers: Firefox, Chrome, and Safari. The same thing happens in all three browsers.

The names do appear on my iPad running 18.6.2, my Mac running 15.6.1, and my Android running v16. I've made the changes and exported to PDF on my iPad which is of course a perfectly acceptable workaround.

Repertoire Help / Re: Page scrolling
Last post by arlo - October 15, 2025, 04:00:59 PM
No, you can't scroll through pages horizontally.

You can scroll through complete pages by opening the document toolbar and clicking the Fit To Height button, and using the up/down hotspots or the Previous/Next Page app control actions to change pages.

Repertoire Help / Page scrolling
Last post by brunonunes.teclas - October 15, 2025, 01:42:05 PM
Hey, Arlo!

Is there a way for me to cycle through a document's pages horizontally rather than vertically?
And is there an option for me to display/cycle a document in a single page fashion rather than a continuos page?

I'm having a hard time getting used to scrolling documents vertically...

Excellent app, by the way!

Having the sound play while the button is held down was what I had in mind!

Account Help / Re: Sharing Songs and Sets bet...

You would either need to add the duo project to your account and add your duo partner as a user in your account, or add the duo project to his account and add you as a user in his account. You can't share data unless you are both in the same account.

Account Help / Sharing Songs and Sets between...
Last post by ChrisMikolaj - October 11, 2025, 02:23:37 PM
Hi Arlo,

I've read through several threads about account sharing, so apologies if you've already covered this topic in different ways — but I wanted to clarify what the best approach might be for our situation.

I'm currently playing in several projects, all managed within my BandHelper account, which I share with my bandmates.

Now there's a new duo project, which I've already created in my account — so far, so good.

However, my duo partner also plays in other bands and projects that I'm not involved in.

Our idea was that he would create his own individual BandHelper account so he can manage his own projects independently.

I'd prefer not to upgrade my license to the 6–20 user level just for this, since he should be able to update our shared songs and sets, but also handle his own material separately.

Is there any smart or recommended way for us to keep separate accounts but still collaborate on a shared project?

Thanks a lot for your help!
Chris
