Repertoire Help / [REQUEST] Naming of Multi-chan...
Last post by Schmakus - January 29, 2026, 06:15:07 AM
Hello Arlo,

It would be good if you could assign names to the multi-channel volume controls. You can already set names for individual recordings in the settings. With five recordings, it's tedious because you have to count the sliders, as they all have the same icon.

And while I'm at it, it would be fantastic if the slider positions were saved and didn't revert to 100% (Records) and 50% (main) every time a setlist is opened. Even better would be the ability to save individual settings for each song. Perhaps an option to save these settings could be selected in the settings menu. Often, you adjust the volume on the fly during a show. Yes, it's possible to do it directly in the recordings, but that's too cumbersome live.

I know, there are thousands of ideas, but maybe it's one of it?! :-)

Hi Arlo,

I was trying to do this last night, but it wouldnt allow keyboard access to any of the other users.  Do I have to change their permission settings to allow it?

I currently have everyone set to "can add and edit information they add" because I had a band member accidentally edit a song file for everyone and I want to make sure that doesnt happen again.

Okay, after looking at your setup for the song in your screen shot, I think you're talking about a MIDI preset named "Klavier/E-Piano" that you have pinned to all songs. It seems the German translation for that is confusing. I'll talk to the translators about that.

Anyway, you have the Send MIDI and Send Pinned MIDI actions both assigned to Song Second Selection. You cannot make the Send Pinned MIDI action run only when a song doesn't have a specific MIDI preset attached to it. Instead, you will need to unpin the "Klavier/E-Piano" preset and attach it directly to the songs where you want to use it.

You can tap the grayed portion of the auto-complete text to accept it.

One screen shot doesn't give much insight into your setup. Let's put it this way: what data is BandHelper currently sending (please use a specific example) and what data do you want it to send instead?

Other Help / Auto-Complete Artist’s Names
Last post by plbgbiz - January 25, 2026, 06:47:51 PM
When entering a new, or editing an existing song in Setlist Maker...

When typing in the artist's name, it populates with the full name if it is a name that has been used on another song.  It is grayed out, and I still have to type the whole name.  Is there a way to have to the name auto-complete without typing the whole name?

The same thing happens when typing the name of a show that has been used previously.

With the integrated 'SSS' technology (Seamless Sound Switching), the MONTAGE allows seamless and uninterrupted switching between two performances without cutting off the sounds being played.
