Last post by Turnaround - May 24, 2026, 09:37:54 AMI am looking for a way to use Live Sharing to allow a midi button press on one iPad to activate the same midi button on another Ipad. The scenario is that I have defined a paired MIDI preset that sends MIDI signals via bluetooth to my mixer to disable/enable the effects on the mixer. On my iPad I have this MIDI preset pair pinned to all songs - the idea being that I can enable/disable delay and reverb on the mixer when the singer wants to address the audience between songs. Additionally I have a bluetooth pedal that will trigger those actions.
I want to enable the singer to also trigger the preset pair. The mixer will not accept two bluetooth connections simultaneously, so I would like the MIDI button on the singer's iPad to activate the same button on my ipad which is bluetooth connected to the mixer. If the singer taps the FX Mute MIDI button in BH, it would activate the same button tap on my iPad which would send the signal to the mixer. But also, if I were to activate the MIDI mute button on my iPad, it should set the mixer and be reflected on the singer's ipad.
The closest I have come to this ideal scenario is to provide the singer with a bluetooth pedal that triggers the MIDI preset at her iPad and having my Ipad follow the Remote Control messages from her iPad. But when I activate the preset from my iPad or from my bluetooth pedal it is not reflected on on the MIDI button on her iPad.

Last post by emilsaks - May 23, 2026, 06:04:56 PMYes, I did everything like the help page pointed out. The only thing is that it was just selected MIDI Program Messages as Program Change. The Midi System Messages I left blank. Should I choose MIDI System as a song select too?
Just to add, I did the rest also (setting up to choose the songs by MSB, LSB and PC, and put the corresponding data for each song).

It's working great from the iPad -> Android over the phone's wifi.
The only issue is the screen on the phone won't rotate to Landscape.
It's going to be connected to a Projector that's too far from the iPad to connect too.

Or if you switch to BandHelper, that will sync the database and documents automatically between devices.

I am running an Android tablet, my bandmate has an iPad. I have a show completed and I want to share it with him, including the attached documents. I think I have shared everything I can with him, my database, and the set list and the songs. But none of the songs are showing up with the included PDF files I placed in the "add Documents" fields of the songs, so he isn't seeing my charts.
How can I share my show with him, so he gets all the setlist and all the included charts?

I'm using the Midi Hub app on an Android tablet. Midi is sent through WiFi to the Midi Hub, then passed on to the Band Helper (connection is in the Midi Hub App). On the Midi Hub, I can see program changes displayed correctly for incoming and outgoing messages, which means it is coming to the Band Helper in the right format (I'm using virtual hub port 1 connection in the Midi Hub and Band Helper). The band helper is displaying messages in the "C1, 15" format, and the song is not being selected.
