Repertoire Help / Re: MIDI PCH in Set Lists
Last post by ElleMrLA - November 30, 2025, 12:39:20 AM
Okay.

I had only set 'Send MIDI' for song selection in the app control. Now I have additionally set 'Send Parent MIDI' for song selection, automatic song selection, and song reselection, and it works.

Thank you very much for that!

I have an iPad 6 with iOS 26.1. And then the MIDI Maestro footswitch.

I turn on the pairing mode on the footswitch. Then I press the MIDI button in the top toolbar and go to 'Connect to Bluetooth Device' and then it says MIDI Maestro connected.

By the way, in the selection of Bluetooth MIDI devices, there are also devices listed that I no longer use. For example, an iRig BlueBoard and another MIDI Maestro.
Is it possible to remove these devices from the list?

Now nothing happens at first. Only when I stop the MIDI transmission (by pressing the green button labeled 'MIDI running') and then press this button again (which is now gray and labeled 'MIDI stopped'), the footswitch works as expected.

Is this normal?

Would it be worth considering including this in an update? For example, to jump to a specific marker (verse or chorus)?

There is no option to skip forward or backward by a fixed amount in an automation track. You would need to add the Automation Controls to your layout and drag the position slider.

How are you connecting the foot switch to the mobile device?

What platform and OS version are on the mobile device?

To send the pinned MIDI preset when selecting a song, you can set the Send Pinned MIDI app control action to Song Selection.

You cannot configure BandHelper to send a pinned MIDI preset only when the song doesn't have a specific MIDI preset. Pinned MIDI presets are meant to be used for every song, not as a fallback for songs that have no presets. However, pinned presets are sent before song-specific presets, so it might work to send your "Piano" preset for every song and then it will be overridden by a song-specific preset when one exists.

I think a more direct filter would be Field = Lyrics, Operator = Equals and then leave the Value field empty.

From the website, the only place you can hide bracketed chords is on the set list Share Songs page. You can click Share Songs for a set list or smart list, then turn off the Bracketed Chords option and copy the lyrics from that page.

The auto-scroll function will compensate for different text sizes on different devices, but it won't recalculate if you resize the text while auto-scrolling. You should save your desired text sizes before you perform so you don't have to change it while performing.

I also recommend talking to your bandmates first, and if they are happy with the existing font sizes, you can turn on Settings > Account Sync > Personal Sync > Lyrics Font Size to change your own font sizes without affecting the display for other users.

Repertoire Help / Changing text size - autoscrol...
Last post by Bassandbeer - November 29, 2025, 08:00:41 AM
So, I'm over 50 now, and although I'm following from another user on stage, sometimes I need to quickly "zoom" to see the lyrics (my eyes are bad). When I do that, it completely renders autoscroll useless, as it's still trying to autoscroll based on the main user that I'm following.

Is there a way for me to make the lyrics larger, and still have the autoscroll adjust and work correctly? I cannot figure out a way that works. either I leave the lyrics in the original size for the song (which are too small for me to see), or I turn off "follow", so that I can adjust the font size, but lose autoscroll.
