One option is to use a file manager app to copy all the files from /Android/data/com.arlomedia.bandhelper/files on the primary storage to the same folder on the removable storage, then turn on General > Account Sync > Use Removable Storage.

If your Android device doesn't let you access those folders, you can do this to remove the downloaded files from the primary storage and redownload them to the removable storage:

1. Click Settings > Account Sync > Remove Downloaded Files.
2. Turn on Settings > Account Sync > Use Removable Storage, and save the page.
3. Click Settings > Account Sync > Download Missing Files.

Repertoire Help / SD Card Transfer
Last post by dotonemanband - July 05, 2024, 06:57:13 AM
I use a Samsung 10" tablet (16gb internal) almost exclusively for bandhelper songs for live performance. A lot of songs now and memory almost full. I have added a 32gb sd card. Not sure how to transfer to the SD card. Have watched some youtube vids and follow to a certain point and it looks different on my tablet. Will bandhelper automatically recognize the songs that will be added to the sd card? Can bh program and songs all be transferred to the SD card? (preferred) TIA

Hi Arlo,

I can change it (screenshot 1)- But after saving and reopening the settings, it´s still 100% so it doesn´t save (like manually resize is the same problem).

MIDI Help / Re: Can't find Play/Pause/Stop...

Did you click All at the top of the Actions list to view all the actions? Only the most common actions are shown by default.

You can use the Start Recording and Stop Recording actions, or you can assign the Start/Stop Recording action to a single foot switch button rather than using two separate buttons.

There is no Pause Recording action, but Stop Recording works like a pause. If you stop and start again, it continues where it left off. If you want to stop and play from the beginning, you need to use a Reselect Current Song action, or just change to the next song and back again.

You can edit the song, scroll down to the Documents list, click the document, and change the Width In Lyrics setting. That is a percentage of the width of the lyrics field.

MIDI Help / Can't find Play/Pause/Stop act...
Last post by edrod85 - June 28, 2024, 09:46:49 AM
Hello,

I'm playing in a duet with backing tracks.
We both use bandhelper.  Singers uses it for notes and lyrics and I use it for chords, FM9 preset change, and notes.

We're using a separate iPad to control the backing tracks.  I am setting up my air step to be able to do the following:

Previous song:
Next song:
Play:
Stop:
Pause:

I was able to setup previous/next song.  Unfortunately I cannot find any of the actions for play, stop, pause.  I've searched in actions - all with no luck.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Eddi

Hi Arlo, I can add it now, but I´m not able to change the size. I can resize the Image, but after releasing the mouse button, the size is like before.
