No, you would need to use the Lyrics or Chords fields for that.

Repertoire Help / Using Notes section - Formatting?
« Last post by nolaschott on September 19, 2022, 12:53:27 PM »
I was wondering if there are any options when using the "Notes" section within a song. Is it possible to use ChordPro tags so if I want to tab out some riffs in the Notes section, it will display properly in a fixed-width font so it aligns vertically. Any advice is appreciated! Thanks.

Announcements / Re: Price and Storage Increases
« Last post by arlo on September 18, 2022, 10:34:33 AM »
With today's release, the individual file size limit has been raised to 75 MB for Plus accounts and 500 MB for Pro accounts. It has been lowered to 15 MB for new Basic accounts, but preexisting Basic accounts will still use the previous 50 MB limit. The overall storage limits have also been raised accordingly, to 15 GB for Plus accounts and 50 GB for Pro accounts.

This should be enough to accommodate compressed recordings (MP3, M4A) for Basic accounts, uncompressed recordings (AIF, WAV) for Plus accounts and unusually long recordings or high-quality videos for Pro accounts.

Account Help / Re: Can't completely clean BH off my Android phone to allow reset
« Last post by arlo on September 17, 2022, 09:32:54 AM »
It sounds like when you reinstall the app, Android is restoring the data automatically. Instead, you can go to Settings > General Settings and click the trash button to remove your account from the app, then click the + button at the top of the Accounts list and add it again.

Account Help / Can't completely clean BH off my Android phone to allow reset

I'm trying to load BH onto my new Android phone.  Somehow, my logon credentials got mixed up and now I'm stuck - can't logon and can't change account / logon info.  Get a message "Something is wrong with your logon info for account (account name here).  Please contact tech support to troubleshoot.  "

Tried removing the app and reloading, but same result.  Searched all my internal data files for some sort of settings file for Bandhelper, but couldn't find anything.

Have a gig tomorrow - want to use BH for my setlists!

Help!!

As a user, I'll be sad when it stops working on old devices. I have two old iPads which literally only get used for Bandhelper. As a software developer, I'm frankly amazed that you've supported the old versions of iOS / Android as long as you have.

Very clear advice Arlo

I'll take a look round my music room, try to sell some bits and pieces to help fund a newer iPad.

Thanks...

A first-generation 12.9" iPad is already 7 years old. Assuming the one you buy has been updated to the latest operating system, I would expect it to be pretty slow; I usually see that when the hardware is more than 3 years older than the operating system. I have no way to know when Apple will end support for different iPad models, but the developer tools usually remain compatible for a few years after iOS updates stop. So this will probably work for several years, but with less than ideal performance.
